• Strict Confidentiality: SewaJer Application guarantees that your personal data will be held in strict confidentiality. All personal data collected through the platform is strictly confidential.
• No Unauthorized Sharing: Your personal data will at no time be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to any third party or outside entity without the user's prior explicit consent, except as required by law, to process payments, or to facilitate the basic connection between Owners and Renters.

To facilitate the peer-to-peer car listing and discovery service, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
• Vehicle Listing Information (for Owners): Vehicle details, images, location, and preferred contact method.
• Payment Information (for Owners): When you purchase a subscription plan, your name, email address, and transaction details are shared with our third-party payment processor to complete the payment. See Section 5 below.
• Verification Data: A one-time password (OTP) is sent to your phone number for verification purposes through our third-party SMS provider.
• Location Data: With your permission, precise or approximate device location, used to show you nearby vehicle listings.
• Technical Data: Device identifiers (including advertising identifiers), IP addresses, and application usage logs to monitor and improve platform performance.

We use the collected data strictly for the following purposes:

• To enable Renters to view and browse available vehicle listings.
• To allow Renters and Owners to establish direct communication with each other.
• To process subscription payments and manage your account plan.
• To maintain, secure, and optimize the performance of the SewaJer application.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraudulent activities or policy violations.

• AI-Assisted Vehicle Listings: When an Owner uploads photos of a vehicle to create or update a listing, those images may be processed by an AI-based image recognition service (operated by us or a third-party AI provider) to help automatically identify vehicle details such as brand, model, and visible condition.
• Purpose Only: This AI processing is used solely to assist Owners in creating listings faster and more accurately. It is not used to make decisions about a user's eligibility, creditworthiness, or account status.
• Data Sent: Only the vehicle images and associated listing metadata you choose to submit are sent for AI analysis. Results may be temporarily cached to avoid repeated processing of the same image.
• No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated suggestions are provided as a convenience only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. See our Terms & Conditions for further details on the limitations of this feature.

• Third-Party Payment Gateway: Owner subscription/plan payments are processed through CHIP Collect, a licensed third-party payment gateway. When you make a subscription payment, you are redirected to CHIP's secure checkout page.
• No Card Storage: SewaJer does not collect or store your full card, bank, or e-wallet credentials. Payment card and banking details are handled directly by CHIP Collect in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable payment industry security standards.
• Data Shared with Payment Processor: To process a subscription payment, we share limited data with CHIP Collect, such as your name, email address, and the purchase amount, along with a transaction reference used to confirm payment status back to SewaJer.
• Rental Payments Excluded: This Section 5 applies only to Owner subscription payments made to SewaJer. It does not apply to rental fees, deposits, or any other payments made directly between an Owner and a Renter — those remain outside the SewaJer platform and are not processed, held, or seen by SewaJer. See Section 6 below.
• Non-Refundable: Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for the full payment and refund terms.

• SSL Encryption Protocol: Data transfer and communication between your mobile phone/device and the SewaJer Application server is made secure using an industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol.
• Misuse Prevention: This high-level encryption process ensures that your personal information is protected during transit, making the unauthorized interception, hacking, or misuse of transferred data significantly more difficult.
• Security Disclaimer: While we deploy robust technical measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or mobile network can be guaranteed as 100% secure. Users interact on the platform acknowledging this inherent risk.

• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Services, including payment processing (CHIP Collect), AI-based image analysis, SMS/OTP verification, social sign-in (Google, Apple), push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising (Google/Firebase services). These providers process data only as needed to perform their function for us.
• User Discretion: Because SewaJer does not handle rental payments or transactions directly on the platform, any personal information or financial data (such as bank account numbers, IC copies, or driving licenses) that you choose to share directly with another user via external channels is entirely at your own risk. SewaJer's privacy protections do not extend to offline interactions between users.
• External Links: Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

• Data Access and Deletion: You have the right to access, update, correct, or request the deletion of your personal account information at any time directly through the application settings.
• Retention Period: We retain your personal data only for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with the services, resolve platform disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

• SewaJer reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time in its absolute discretion. Any updates will be posted directly on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage users to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect their personal data.
